he Lumina door has a gloss acrylic front made from 18mm thick MDF, a medium-density fibreboard. It is a flat slab style door with a 1mm radius giving it a very slight curve on its corner edges. The rest of the door edges are finished with a matching 1mm Solid ABS edging or our ‘Duo’ glass effect edging, which are robust, quality plastics. ABS is highly resistant to scratches and aging. The ABS is edged, or attached, to the door with PUR technology making the glue seal waterproof and providing an invisible joint. The reverse side of the doors have a textured finish.

We had a tailor made plan designed by Barney Jones who also project managed the installation throughout. This was the most important aspect for us and it meant that when a couple of minor issues cropped up Barney was able to deal with them efficiently for us. We would rate the quality of workmanship very highly - the contractors were very good and worked hard to get the job finished a day ahead of schedule. ASE recently supplied and installed a new kitchen and bathroom in our home. We worked with Barney and Daniel in the showroom and the ASE Install team worked in our property to successfully complete the installation. Barney's knowledge as an ex-kitchen fitter meant that he was able to design and suggest products that he knew would look good and represent the best use of space. Daniel's extensive product knowledge saved us money by offering bathroom products of comparable quality at a lower cost. There were a couple of things we would like to have seen done differently; a clearer explanation of the charging for sub-contract work and a site visit on completion of the bathroom project. However, there is a practical and realistic work ethic throughout ASE and we would recommend them to friends and family.
